Dag Ausen

Dag Ausen (M.Sc.), IMAPS Nordic Secretary since 2003, is senior advisor at SINTEF Electronics and Cybernetics in Oslo. He works at the Department of Instrumentation and Microelectronics with main focus on electronic packaging and microsystems technology. Learn more about the institute at www.sintef.no/ecy.

Terho Kutilainen has served as Treasurer of IMAPS Nordic from the beginning of 1997.
The Treasurer's main responsibility is to arrange the financial matters in practice, to help the Board with budgeting and assist with arrangement of conferences. Terho would like to kindly ask all to use our Nordic Giro Accounts when paying the annual fee. Terho Kutilainen holds a Master of Science degree received from University of Oulu, Department of Electrical Engineering. His working experience started 1979 at Aspo Oy Electronics, later Aspocomp Oyj, mainly in the field of ceramic modules. In 2001 he started as Manager of Packaging and Interconnection in Business Development and Research group of Aspocomp. The work of the BDR-group lead to founding of Asperation Oy, a joint venture of Aspocomp and Perlos, with intention to integrate electronics and mechanics. After division of Asperation’s programmes back to the parent companies, he worked as Development Director at Aspocomp Technology Oy and as VP Business Development and VP Technology at Selmic Oy and CEO of Aspact Oy, continuing the work started at Asperation Oy.  

Hans Danielsson was one of the founder members of IMAPS Nordic in 1971, and was the president for the first five years and vice president for more than 15 years. With a six years background in thin film microelectronics he started the thick film activity at Saab 1966 and was heading this activity to 1985. Then he was an electronic packaging specialist for the Saab group of companies working a lot with automotive electronics. In 1990 he started his own consulting activity working both with microelectronics and Surface Mount Technology. He is the author of the book "Surface Mount Technology with Fine Pitch Components: The Manufacturing Issues".

You need JavaScript enabled to view it received his masters degree in mechanical engineering at The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm in 1984. From 1984 to 1994 he worked with mechanical design and electronics packaging at Siemens-Elema. Since 1994 he has been responsible for electronics packaging at Pacesetter AB, now St Jude Medical, in Sweden. Kenneth was responsible for the 1998 exhibition in Stockholm.

Ras Kaas Vestergaard holds a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering recieved from the Technical University of Denmark, specializing in micro electronics and silicon processing.
After graduating in 1997 he continued to work at the University clean room labs developing ultra thick photoresist moulds for metal electroplating.
His work experience in the private sector started in 2001 in the biotech start-up company Sophion BioScience. Here he was a part of the team developing the measuring site for so called “patch clamp measurements”, measuring the ion channel currents across cell membranes.
In 2006 he moved to hearing aid developer and manufacturer Oticon A/S working in the interconnect group. From 2007 he has been Group Manager for Micro Systems and Reliability Engineering in Team Platform at Oticon A/S.
