He has a strong research professional with a PhD focused on Materials science and Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Having a broad research background in chemistry, materials science and engineering, focusing on innovative solutions in smart polymers and materials for soft electronics. His research interests mainly include self-healing material, stretchable/soft electronics, wearable sensors, nanomaterials for biomedical applications, and biomimetic/bioinspired based TENG

Course description:

This course introduces self-healing materials in a way that is accessible to people from many research backgrounds. It explains why soft electronic devices fail when they are bent, stretched, or damaged, and how self-healing materials can repair these failures on their own or with minimal external help. The course covers the basic concepts behind self-healing, including simple explanations of the material chemistry, mechanical behavior, and electrical performance. It also shows how these materials are made, tested, and used in real examples such as wearable electronics, soft sensors, and biomedical devices, without assuming prior expertise in materials science or electronics.
