Felix Mohn

Business Development, APECS Pilot line

Biography: Felix Mohn studied business administration and management at the University of Potsdam and the Berlin School of Economics and Law, where he earned his master’s degree in 2019. He began his professional career in finance, HR, and Customer Relations working for two startups specializing in software and cloud services. He then joined the Potsdam Chamber of Industry and Commerce, where he was responsible for supporting start-ups and advising on financing matters. Later, he moved to the German American Chamber of Commerce in Chicago, working on trade missions and government projects aimed at strengthening transatlantic business relations. Most recently, he oversaw international projects at Berlin Partner for Business and Technology. Felix Mohn joined Fraunhofer and the FMD in April 2025. He currently works in Business Development for the APECS pilot line, focusing on strategic partnerships and industry cooperation.

Rolf Aschenbrenner

Deputy Director and Head of Business Development Team, Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Mictrointegration (IZM)

Biography: Rolf Aschenbrenner received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University for Applied Science, Gießen, Germany in 1986 and the M.S. degree in physics from The University of Gießen, Germany, in 1991. Since March 1994 he has been employed at the Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration (IZM), where he is presently the Deputy Director and Head of the Business Development Team. He received the iNEMI International Recognition Award in 2005, the CPMT David Feldman Outstanding Contribution Award in 2013, the European Semi Award in 2016 and the IEEE EPS Regional Contributions Award in 2022.
He was a member of the IEEE EPS Society Board of Governors for several years and worked as a European Representative on the Conference Advisory Board Committee. He served as IEEE EPS Vice President, Technical, Vice President, Conferences and in from January 2010 until December 2011 he was IEEE EPS President. In 2012 he became IEEE Fellow.
